T.J. Carter, defensive lineman, Mableton (Ga.) Whitefield Academy - "I didn't go (because) my prom was that day. I watched it on T.V. and from my position specifically I didn't see much pressure on the QB. Also, (the) box defense seemed to struggle against run. No matter who it was at running back it seemed like they would get decent yardage.

"Denzil (Ware) single-handedly created (a) pass rush for defense. (Drew) Barker seemed really good. He had that one interception but other than that, solid day. Overall (the) offense looked pretty good and it seemed like the defense was okay but needs improvement. They couldn't stop the run like I said earlier."

Jamar Watson, linebacker, Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara - "I was at the spring game. The team looked solid. I didn't pay much too much attention to them as a whole but I focused more on my position and the two lock down corners that are said to be three and done.

"But at my position, Denzil Ware looked all SEC, He dominated from the first play to his last. I'll be watching him closely when I get there. Josh Allen played well too. He does his job consistently and looks the part off the field. Kobe Walker the ex-safety played solid there using his speed to beat defenders. Didn't see many other guys at the OLB position do anything worth noting."

Benny Snell, running back, Westerville (Ohio) Central - "I thought it went really well and I saw a lot of guys competing out there especially the white team to start. At running back I see a good group but I pictured myself out there so I'm ready to make an impact."

A.J. Rose, running back, Garfield Heights (Ohio) - "I was there and I think the team is coming along good. The offense looked great and I think we will score a lot of points. The defense looks good, too. I think we will be good come the first game."
